White Home Office Ideas

Start with a white desk. Gold legs add that extra chic touch. Match a white office chair with gold legs. Mixing textures in white adds a depth of sophistication. To contrast with the white glossy desk with shiny gold legs, add a textured white throw rug.

Lighting Decor Hacks

For lighting, more gold accents. I wanted a daylight lamp for my art, but since they’re not that attractive, I added some gold trim. I bought metallic gold tape and put it around the top and a band around the neck of the lamp.

Another hack: I live coastal by the beach and wanted a touch of tropical in my office so I added a palm leaf ceiling light fixture. I couldn’t find a gold one, so I bought this bronze one and spray painted it gold. Then I also added a gold floor lamp. I like lots of light when I’m working.

Accessories

For a feminine touch I added 2 pieces of wall art of elegant women and a female silhouette statue. And for a pop of color, an artificial orchid and a turquoise vase. There is also a green plant on the desk.

On one side of the room, I have a wall unit to hold my craft supplies. I have several accessories on that like the gold sculpture and a black and white zebra glass bowl.
